Step 1: During a consultation in clinic we will ask you some questions about your skin history. We’ll take high-quality detailed images of the mole or skin lesion that you’re concerned about, using a specialist, medical grade camera called a ‘Dermascope’.
Step 2: The images are sent securely to dermatology specialists at Map My Mole for expert analysis.
Step 3: A consultant will review the images and prepare a detailed dermatology report within 48 hours, with an assessment of your mole and advice on next steps. The report does not give a diagnosis, but can help identify anything suspicious that may need further investigation.

What if there’s a concern?
If we detect anything that needs further evaluation, we’ll provide:
- A recommendation to see a doctor or dermatologist.
- Early detection support with guidance on next steps to ensure the right care.
